New Construction

Cupertino, CA

In the heart of Silicon Valley, this community expresses the neighborhood’s spirit of innovation and comfort through layered, senior-friendly interiors. We installed light oak flooring, Capiz shell lighting, and soft textures to create a bright, inviting foundation. We added pops of color, pattern, and texture to introduce visual interest and warmth. Mid-century influences appear in geometric parlor tile, drapery, and lighting selections, while nature-inspired elements such as wood beams in the bistro and limestone accents ground the design in a sense of place. We curated artwork by local artists and organized themed corridor galleries that celebrate technology, equestrian life, and wine country. These pieces support wayfinding, spark conversation, and reflect the regional identity. Together, these design choices create an environment that feels modern, engaging, and deeply rooted in its Silicon Valley surroundings.

Franklin Lakes, NJ

Set in a picturesque borough known for its lakes, wooded trails, and historic charm, this community blends luxury with the natural beauty of Franklin Lakes to create refined, inviting interiors. We layered a soft, airy palette with gilded accents to establish an elegant backdrop, then introduced bold botanical elements and rich jewel-toned furnishings to add warmth and depth. We paired traditional and modern pieces with organic textures to evoke a sophisticated yet welcoming sense of home. We selected artwork with care, including pieces by local artists and archival images from the Franklin Lakes library, to root the design in community history and enhance visual richness. Throughout the building, we captured the serene beauty of the surrounding landscape while delivering a layered, luxurious environment for residents.

Fairfax, VA

Located just outside Washington, D.C., this community features a layered, Arts and Crafts-inspired interior that reflects the region’s natural beauty and history. We blended intimate spaces with white-painted millwork and natural materials like stacked stone, brick, and wood beams to add warmth and texture throughout. We paired neutral finishes with rich, heritage-inspired fabric patterns to create depth and timeless character. Curated works by local artists ground the interiors in Fairfax’s identity. We designed flexible, adaptable common areas to support a range of programming, using elegant furnishings and bold color accents to make each space feel welcoming yet refined.

Redwood City, CA

Set back from the heart of Silicon Valley and nearby bustling San Francisco, this community balances the energy of its surroundings with calm, thoughtful design. The interiors embody a harmonious California-inspired blend of light woods, Spanish tile, a monolithic limestone fireplace, modern black metal accents, and moss green-wall features, all grounded by a serene palette. Hospitality-style furnishings and vibrant artwork add energy and color, capturing the vitality of Silicon Valley while maintaining a sense of calm. A narrow site led to the creation of an internal courtyard for a quiet arrival and clear separation of assisted living and memory care. Limited ground-level outdoor space was reimagined as a spacious rooftop terrace with city views, offering residents a peaceful outdoor retreat that complements the layered, modern interiors.

Issaquah, WA

Set among towering cedars just east of Seattle, this community blends an elevated-casual aesthetic with the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. We used fresh colors, tall ceilings, and natural materials to create spaces that feel welcoming and connected, while maintaining a cohesive design language across each area. On the first floor, the bistro serves as a true hub, linking the lobby, dining, parlor, and outdoor areas to encourage activity and connection. We also incorporated secure patios with filtered light and woodland views to provide calm, engaging environments in our Memory Care neighborhoods. Additionally, we thoughtfully curated artwork throughout to support wayfinding, spark conversation, and celebrate local artists—ensuring each space feels distinct while reflecting a unified, nature-inspired vision.

Huntington, NY

Once a horse farm and polo club, this site inspired our designers to create interiors that feel both storied and serene. We shaped a two-story, 90-unit building that blends into the neighborhood using dormers, gables, and varied materials to break up the roofline and reduce visual length. These exterior choices mirrored the thoughtful interior layout we designed for residents’ enjoyment. Inside, we used warm, earthy tones, organic patterns, and layered textures to foster wellness through biophilic design. We incorporated local equestrian-themed art to honor the site’s legacy. In the dining area, we added built-in shelving with base cabinets to enhance storage and create a sense of intimacy, guiding traffic flow in the open space. We placed furniture thoughtfully and maintained clear sightlines to support resident engagement and independence.

Coral Gables, FL

Just outside downtown Miami, our team brought life to a Coral Gables community that blends Mediterranean warmth with Miami’s art deco flair through vibrant, layered interiors. Drawing from the neighborhood’s architectural character, we incorporated a bold color palette and playful patterns balanced with sophisticated finishes. Soaring 12-foot windows fill the spaces with natural light, while custom drapery enhances views and supports comfort and ease of use. Inside, we designed a lively bistro with a bar, modern kitchenettes, and flexible dining spaces that foster connection and hospitality. Throughout the community, we installed curated furnishings and art deco-inspired details that create an energetic yet refined environment.
