Renovations
The Quadrangle, PA
At The Quadrangle, in collaboration with Converse Winkler Architecture, we refined the interiors to balance historic character, luxury, and Quaker values within a tailored, eclectic aesthetic. We applied a muted palette and layered textures to create warmth, while curated furnishings elevate comfort and usability. We transformed the former concierge area into an art gallery for resident exhibitions, adding cultural richness to the space. A reimagined corridor is now a welcoming living room anchored by a fireplace, complemented by a bar that fosters daily connection. We also built a flexible game and theater room with a movable partition and a nanowall that links indoor and outdoor spaces to support wellness, daylight, and adaptable programming. Each design decision enhances functionality while maintaining a sophisticated, human-centered environment.

Redmond, WA
Just outside Seattle, we designed this renovation to reflect the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty while transforming a sparse, undefined building into a cohesive, modern environment. Our designers restructured narrow, underutilized common areas to create vibrant, functional destination spaces that still support community gatherings and events. We anchored the main gathering space with a cozy bistro to encourage connection and social engagement. We energized the interiors with bold colors, patterns, and textures in furniture, artwork, and finishes. Throughout, we echoed the surrounding Cascades with deep greens, warm cedar, and sunset-rust fabrics.
Saddle River, NJ
Located in scenic Saddle River, NJ, this community sits in a neighborhood that locals and visitors alike admire for its bucolic atmosphere and natural beauty. That setting inspired our renovation design. The prior layout lacked design intentionality, so in collaboration with Wallace Creative, we developed innovative solutions to work within the existing footprint while completely restructuring the interior spaces. We envisioned a cohesive, functional, and beautiful community filled with welcoming spaces and a captivating atmosphere. We connected the common spaces on the second floor visually and auditorily through a new atrium. We also added a new spa, physical therapy room, and salon to provide convenient, on-site wellness amenities. Today, residents enjoy enhanced connectivity in a sophisticated and cheerful environment.
The Colonnades, VA
Our team, in partnership with Page, added nearly 8,000 square feet of vibrant interior space to this historic Jeffersonian community, honoring its legacy while bringing renewed energy throughout. We introduced a skylit lounge, a dedicated bar that opens to the dining room for casual gatherings, a private dining space, an auditorium, a studio activities room, and terraces overlooking the scenic landscape. We upgraded finishes to maintain a historic feel, using a custom Axminster carpet to reinforce the Jeffersonian concept and unify the spaces. We collaborated with the resident review committee to ensure every fabric, finish, and furniture selection felt intentional and welcomed. At the renovated pool, we installed a striking custom moss wall that adds a fresh focal point and a connection to nature within the expanded interior.
St. Charles, IL
Our designers transformed underutilized pass-through spaces into vibrant, purposeful destinations, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the nearby Fox River and surrounding parks. We paired clean lines with pops of abstract fabrics and visuals to bring energy and elegance throughout the community. We defined welcoming lounges and program-friendly areas with thoughtfully zoned layouts that encourage connection among residents, families, and team members. We blended existing furniture with new pieces, using refreshed finishes and drapery to create a cohesive, uplifting environment tailored to resident preferences. We also updated team member offices and the team room to support workplace wellness.
